We operate cross border private car services between Singapore and Malaysia with a focus on family and group travel. Our fleet includes Toyota Innova (6 seater), Toyota Alphard / Vellfire (7 seater), and Hyundai Starex (10 seater). We do door to door from any Singapore address to Johor Bahru, Legoland, Desaru, Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands, and beyond.

This company has been operating since 2010. They claim over 300,000 trips completed and 150,000 customers served. That is serious volume. They operate their own fleet and drivers, not a third party aggregator. Starting price for Singapore to Johor Bahru is from SGD 100.

They cover the same destinations as us: JB, Malacca, KL, Desaru, Genting, Legoland. Their operational experience across Woodlands and Tuas is solid. Payment options include cash, bank transfer, card, and Touch N Go. They offer child safety seats upon request with 24 hour advance notice.

Pros: Huge track record, direct operator, fixed pricing.

Cons: Slightly higher starting price. Their website is a bit dated.

A budget friendly option. They offer Toyota Innova, Hyundai Staria, Toyota Alphard, and Hyundai Starex. Pricing is competitive starting from SGD 80 to 90 range. They accept cash payment in Singapore Dollar only and recommend booking at least 2 days in advance.

They have clear luggage capacity guidelines: Innova fits 2 big luggage, Staria fits 4 big luggage, Alphard fits 4 big luggage, Starex fits 4 big luggage. Operating hours are 24 hours daily with support in English, Mandarin, and Malay.

Pros: Affordable, multiple MPV options, multilingual support.

This provider stands out for Chinese speaking drivers. They charge from SGD 100 for Toyota Innova, SGD 120 for Alphard, and SGD 130 for Starex for one way trips to Johor Bahru. They provide complimentary bottled water and baby car seats are available for an extra fee upon request.

They cover an extensive list of drop off locations in Johor Bahru including Legoland, Mid Valley Southkey, Larkin Sentral, Forest City, Iskandar Puteri, Bukit Indah, Mount Austin, and many more. They also offer trips to Desaru, Kukup, Kluang, and other Malaysian destinations.

 5. Grab Cross Border (Beta)

This is new in 2026. Grab received the first Cross Border Ride Hail Service Operator Licence in April 2026. They launched a pilot service called Cross Border SG JB (Beta) starting 4 May 2026. You can book door to door rides through the Grab app with advance booking between 12 hours to 7 days.

Coverage is limited to Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri, Forest City, Kulai, and Senai on the Malaysia side. Return trips from Malaysia to Singapore have pick up restrictions at fixed points like Toppen Shopping Centre, Mid Valley Southkey, Angsana Mall, and Larkin Sentral.

Pros: Convenient app booking, familiar interface, licensed service.

Cons: Still in beta, limited coverage, return trips are restricted.

 6. ComfortDelGro Taxi

Singapore's largest taxi operator offers cross border taxi services. You can book by calling their 24 hour hotline at 6552 1111. Vehicle options include Standard 4 (Prius, Ioniq, BYD e6), Standard 6 (Sienta, Noah), and Premium 6 (Alphard, MaxiCab, Vellfire).

Effective from May 2026, they have expanded drop off coverage to Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri, Forest City, Kulai, and Senai. Fares depend on distance and vehicle type. You do not need to alight at customs clearance. Important note: From 4 May 2026 onwards, return trip bookings from Malaysia to Singapore via hotline are discontinued. Passengers must street hail at Larkin Terminal.

Pros: Established brand, 24 hour hotline, multiple vehicle types.

Cons: Must call to book (no app for cross border), multiple stops not allowed, return booking from Malaysia is discontinued.

Another Singapore based taxi operator. They offer cross border service with fares effective from May 2026. From any location in Singapore to Larkin Terminal or up to 35km costs SGD 100. From Changi Airport costs SGD 140. Trips over 35km cost SGD 120 to 160 depending on origin.

From Malaysia to Singapore, street hail from Larkin Terminal costs RM240 to RM300. Only cash is accepted. Maximum 4 passengers per vehicle. STRIDES Premier currently offers only 4 seater taxis for cross border service.

Pros: Structured pricing, official operator.

Cons: Small vehicle capacity (4 passengers only), cash only, pick up from Malaysia is strictly at Larkin Terminal only.

A premium player. They hold TA Licence TA03512 and operate an immaculate fleet including Mercedes S Class and V Class, luxury Alphard, MPVs, 13 23 seater minibuses, and 45 49 seater coaches. This is not your everyday family transfer service. This is for corporate charters, VIP transport, and large group events.

They deliver airport transfers, corporate charters, VIP and event transport, and tailored group transfers with professional, punctual chauffeurs. Registered address is 883 North Bridge Road, 19 05, Southbank, Singapore 198785.

Pros: Luxury vehicles, wide fleet range, professional chauffeurs.

Cons: Premium pricing (quote based), not suited for simple JB to Singapore hops.

A Johor based company focusing on premium cross border chauffeur services. They emphasize vehicle compliance with LTA and VEP requirements. Their fleet includes sedan cars, hatchback cars, SUV cars, and MPV cars. They recommend booking daily commute arrangements at least 48 to 72 hours in advance.

They offer private chauffeur service with 7 passenger vehicles that combine space, comfort, and safety. Their drivers are trained to navigate both local and cross border routes ensuring a safe and timely journey.

Pros: Premium vehicles, structured private car transfer service.

Cons: Premium pricing, information primarily in multiple languages.

Pros: Flexible, competitive pricing.

Cons: Very limited online presence. Hard to find detailed pricing information.

If you are a corporate traveller moving large groups or need a minibus, SAVA Leisure is the premium option. If you just want to open an app and book spontaneously, Grab is promising but still in beta as of 2026.

7. Can I cross at 3 AM?

Yes. Most private car services operate 24 hours for pre booked customers. Check with each provider individually for late night availability.

8. Which service has the best online booking experience?

Grab by far has the best app interface. Among private car services, SGMYTransport has a functional website but none are as polished as the Grab app.

9. Do any of these accept credit card?

SGMY MPV Transport accepts bank transfer and credit card via payment link. Grab accepts app based payments. SGMYTransport accepts card and bank transfer. Most taxi operators are cash only.

10. Which one should I avoid?

None are "bad" but match your needs. If you have 6 people and 4 large suitcases, avoid STRIDES Premier's 4 seater only. If you need a simple JB to Singapore airport transfer, any of the top 5 will work fine.
